Hello,
I hope everyone had a great Independence Day, and you are all staying cool and enjoying your summer.
Today I want to share information with you about“Tapping”.  And no, I’m not talking about tap dancing although that might be a great way to eliminate caregiver stress…that is if we had enough energy left to click. 
I am talking aboutEmotional Freedom Techniques, EFT, which is also known as tapping.  According to Nancy Forrester,psychotherapist, educator and EFT Expert, “EFT is a state of the art,  mind-body technique that brings together the wisdom of Eastern philosophies with the science of the Western world into a simple technique that anyone can learn and practice to dramatically reduce their stress symptoms – both today’s stress and post trauma stress”.

Do you know what PTSD is?   The first step to honoring and caring for your veteran is understanding the invisible wounds of war.

Today, June 27th marks the third annual National Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Awareness Day.  

SR 455 was introduced by Senator Kent Conrad (D,ND).  This day has been created for the purpose of increasing our nations awareness and understanding of the issues facing many service members  currently  returning from war, as well as those who fought decades ago,  and continue to battle with their “Invisible Wounds”.
